my collecting interests have changed a number of times these past 15 years (CIC's, NCV's, card rooms, etc... ). The only LE's that I collect are from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. And like you, I have paid over face for most of them. I had all of the $5's & $25's, but turned in most of the $25 chips for face some time ago. I took them to a craps table & it was fun watching the table crew going through them & looking at them. I took a loss by turning them in that way, but had more money to spend on the "core" of my collection, so it was a plus. Still have all the $5 chips & will keep those.
