If there are 50,000 chips from a casino and only a few hundred or so people that collect that type of chip, how can anyone expect the value to go up?
I believe that the chips your talking about were never worth what they were selling for years ago and the price was driven up by people hyping them as "rare"
I guess it all depends on how you define "Increase in Value"
I find it weird that the list notes that Stamps are 3rd in value growth when I have tons of stamps from the 30's-70's that are barely worth face value. The fact is that the majority of stamps did not increase in value, while only the rare ones did..... Same as chips.
