The State of New Jersey has set up a special fund for redemption of Playboy chips that were obtained from the gaming tables. I am not sure how long this provision was in effect. However, one must travel to Trenton and present the chips in person and sign an affidavit under penalty of perjury and a fine that the chips were received from Playboy Casino and not from the dig. Since back up chips were never used in play, they are not eligible for redemption.
