I would like to avoid all confusing so I am hoping I can clear things up for you.

Making a statement like you did makes people think that this board IS the club.

Nothing can be further from the truth. The Chipboard is an open forum that is not owned, maintained, operated, or policed by the .

There are many non members that visit this board regularly and there is no requirement of membership here.

I personally disagree with you saying something that connects this board as being the same as the club.

As far as what this board is, I would suggest to all users that the read the "First Time Users" link at the top of the board or by using this link

Now do I agree with Rich posting what he did in this thread? Not really.
However I see absolutely nothing "Political" in what he posted as you stated

The reality is though that Many, Many threads here have posts that are unrelated to the topics posted.
Many times I try and post a serious thread and get jokes in response.

There are LOTS of reasons that people decide to become members of the and even some why they decide not to.
But to infer that people should make up their mind to be part of an organization or not because of what one of their members post in a public forum seems a little ridiculous to me.

Of course that's just my opinion as a member myself.
