The Chip Board Poker Players Winter Session ends tonight with the possibility of a tie? I don't see that happening but we need to address this for future sessions. We have 9 seats at the Final Table so in the event of a tie, both players would be seated at the final table ie three players from that session will be seated. In the unlikely event of a 2nd tie session, the player that finishes higher in the 10th game of that session will be seated at the final table. If there are no ties, the player with the highest point total at the end of all sessions will fill the 9th seat or any seats available from previous qualifiers.
ALSO PLEASE REMEMBER: A player that has already earned a seat at the final table "plays the spoiler" if he places 1st or 2nd in a second session, then only one player from that session will be invited to the final table. His 2nd seat will then be filled from the points leader at the end of all games, from the players that have not previously earned a seat to the final table. Sounds complicated but it really is not that bad.
