If I were looking a at 2 chips...one cleaned, one not cleaned, and I wanted a clean one, I would probably pay a premium for the cleaned chip (but it would depend on how much...'cuz I'm cheap! ). Because I could see what I was getting. The uncleaned one might have a spot that wouldn't clean, or I might damage the hotstamp or whatever...

That said...I'd probably buy the uncleaned one, and leave it that way.
