I thought as Americans we are all on the same side on this issue. No politics here No doubt you could find a tragic event to hijack the otherwise casual thread with.
Are you on a different side? Then insinuate that because Mike took exception to your spin, that he was not 'on the same side?'
Sorry. Unlike you, i can't forget what happened on 9/11. I think about it constantly. Next, accuse Mike of ‘forgetting’ about one of the most historic events in modern history? If you CONSTANTLY think about it this many years afterward, maybe you need to seek professional help. Not to forget, but to go on.
Sorry if its a buzzkill. Sorry if I reminded people what happened I assure you No One in America has forgotten.
In Fred’s post below, I am still trying to figure why your post was ‘unAmerican.’ He says people will remember a bad event to the heading “You never forget….” I must be un-American because I thought of my first trip to Las Vegas and the Stardust. But, it in no way diminished my memories of 9/11, the birth of my children, or any happy or sad occasions in my life. I am capable of remembering MANY things, not just one. Like Mike, I was shocked to see you spin the thread in such a way as to imply Mike’s post was insignificant in some way and for Fred imply the post was unAmerican. (???) YOU must have forgotten Pearl Harbor? You never mentioned it.
