Thats a pretty "big baller" chip for a first purchase. I've been going to the Convention for a few years now, but I went the other way. I started with Vegas $5s that were current but UNCIR ($8 or so) and worked my way up the ladder. I'm currently in the Old Vegas $5's that run in the $50+ range. I have 4 that have cost aroung the $100 mark, but that is the exception not the rule. 3 of the 4 times I spent that on a chip I had just won a few hundred playing poker, so I decided to add to my collection instead of blowing it back on the felt.

Anyways, super cool chip. I will get one someday.
