He has been selling the same stuff for at least 6 years. As far as I can tell, he never sells anything. He has a deck of card from Aruba I would love. A much better condition deck sold for $12 before the crash in collectibles prices. He had it for $95. I wrote him and told him about the other sale, with a link to the auction and offered $15. No go. He listed it that way for months and accidentally listed it for $59 once. Still, no sale. When the bank crisis happened, he upped the price to $175 and it has stayed there ever since. I have been unable to find any other Aruba casino playing card collectors. Archie has some nice decks but is not, I believe, actively collecting. So, there will be little interest, beyond me. I guess there are a few out there, but I can't find them if they exist. So, why continue to sell it at this price? No idea. I really believe it will NEVER sell at that price, even to an ignorant buyer. At this point, I would put its real value at $5-12.
Sigh. I could use that deck, even in the crappy, no box, no jokers condition.
