"What kills you, makes others stronger" according to the book I'm reading on being Antifragile.

Written by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, the guy who wrote "Black Swan" a while back. Beware the black swan; the impossible big event that comes out of nowhere and happens anyway.

How does this relate to collecting casino stuff? Watch out for the black swan; the guy who has a box of chips like your Z value old chip and starts to sell them on ebay .

How does this killing of your chip value make others stronger? It makes the chip available to other collectors who otherwise couldn't find one or afford one. Their collection gets stronger (bigger), anyway.
