OK folks..here's the latest on these...the club that is mentioned was a genuine club that existed in the small town of Lares, PR. It was a bar/nightclub and the tokens that are for sale were actually "good fors" that were issued at the entrance of the club. This club was active in the late 60's to mid 70's. Therefore in my opinion and from some PR collectors that I have spoken to these are considered as Puerto Rico tokens, but not gaming/casino tokens. No one has been able to tell me if there was any illegal gambling in the club. So buyers beware...the person that discovered these apparently has a bagfull
