Cindy and I had our 40th wedding anniversary in January and we planned on taking a Mediterranean cruise to celebrate. I booked one that was very chep but had lousy stops knowing I could change it with no fees. The one I really wanted (Venice to Barcelona) finally came along at the right price and we grabbed it. It is a twelve day cruise plus travel time. Cindy did not want to spend extra time so we decided not to stay an extra day in Barcleona and see the sights. The cruise brochure says the first day is the 29 th and is overnight in Venice. Since we wanted to see Venice I figured that would be great since we get in early on the 29th and would not leave until late on the 30th. So I got the airplane tickets. Now getting the details of the trip worked out it turns out that the ship leaves Venice at 1 AM on the 30th which means we have half a day instead on one and a half days in Venice. Overnight means it doesn't leave on the 29th but one hour later! Now my only hope to see Venice is if the airline changes my flight times and I get to rebook at no added cost. If that happens i will try to get in a day early.
