The old La Cabana casinos were jointly owned by two La Cabana's, the Villas and the Beach and Racquet Club. They had an unfriendly breakup and one got control of the Royal Cabana. They also opened the Key Largo. That La Cabana is now the Tropicana. The Key Largo is now the Trop Club Casino and the Royal Cabana is supposedly going to be re-made into a Tropicana Casino. As Brian showed, there has been NO progress on that. Both of the casinos - Royal Cabana and Key Largo - were in buildings outside of either La Cabana. The Royal Cabana was a free-standing building, the Key Largo was in a restaurant. Now, the remaining La Cabana (not the Tropicana) has opened a casino in its own building. Does that clarify anything? Or make it even more confusing?
