Thank you Quintin & CC for the character ID LUCKY! I am fascinated with the Chinese chips and the culture specifically how the Chinese pros are not only good but LUCKY as well. I play a GOOD game of poker for an amateur but it seems to me the combination of GOOD & LUCKY is hard to beat. So lately I have been looking to the Chinese culture for tips on how to "enhance" LUCK beyond the concept of CHANCE or superstition. So I tried a Chinese Good Luck tip for my home game last night. I ended up 4th out of 25 players, on the bubble just out of the money. Not a total loss though. I limped in on a big blind with 6-3 suited and scored QUAD 6s when the devil six popped up on the turn. The hand was good for high hand of the night and paid just under $20. Now I can't say that the material I used in an unusual way made a difference BUT, I can't say that it hurt either. So I have decided to take half of my winnings and play the lottery today.
