At one of the local antique stores here in Tucson I have a small display case that operates at a loss.

While it does sell a few items from month-to-month, it seems that having a stack of business cards and a sign that states "I Buy and Sell" helps me out. Occassionally, I get a phone call from someone looking to sell and this weekend was an example...

Offered were these chips (not including the Harrah's $1 and the Hard Rock bolo tie), most of which I was happy to get, as I added some to my collection and was able to up-grade several others.

The Harrah's brass-core $1 and the Hard Rock bolo tie were acquisitions from a local coin shop's Saturday Bid Boards. I got a really good deal on the bolo tie (I thank those who contacted me with value information) and spent the going rate for the Harrah's.

I plan to offer my replaced chips shortly, if anyone is interested.
