~~~ Convention I stopped in to MGM to play the wheel... and while slow, it was interesting to see all the onlookers who probably never saw how a French wheel/table operates. My 20 $10 jetons lasted at least 45-minutes before exhausted... The crew was from The Netherlands and called both French and English... and they were good, too.
The next day when I decided to go back and ask the office if I can get a few photocopies of "the plaques" I was asked to wait by the wheel and someone will be with me shortly. Within 5-minutes a gentleman walks up to me asking if he can be of any help... and of course I repeated the same request; asking for photocopies of the plaques. He said it would be a few minutes and he'll see what he can do. After waiting for about 30-minutes he came back on the floor but never bothered to walk over to me to explain anything so I left about 20-minutes after that.
I would have noticed if there were plaques stacked around the wheel, and when what I thought was cooperation by the two people I spoke with I was sure to believe there were plaques. End of story (this info was published here years ago) -- and I think it was either 1994-95-or 96 club convention, but not during the MGM industry show year...
Has anyone here ever seen plaques stacked around the MGM wheel back then... or at PARIS LAS VEGAS... or know for a fact the same wheel (I think I remember two at MGM within the rope) from MGM was used at PARIS-Las Vegas?
