I appreciate the info and the corrections to my examples, Rich. I do remember your post several weeks ago about the Anona chip and the cigar label. I have the ones with "cigar" on the inlay, as you suggested.
Good to know that color is important to rarity (and value, in most cases). I know that is true for some of the older Nevada roulettes, but it's hard to get info on which colors are scarce.
I'm guilty of not checking your web site on the Cortez where you show the yellow and orange colors. Mine appears to be the more-common darker shade. Any thoughts on whether the difference could be due to environment, like light or temperature? I assume you've tried the oil treatment to see if either color changes. I know that some older CIC chips, like the N. Nevada Saharas, did change color during their long burial in drums. Color of the plastic on some of those will definitely change, even with just contact with skin oil, though the chips appear otherwise undamaged.
