I first came across a few of these jetons back in 2009 - as per the message below from the archives
Back then I found 5 x 5/- (5 shillings) jetons, 5 x 2/6 (2 shillings and 6 pence) chips and 7 £1 jetons. The pre-decimal currency confirmed that the chips were pre-1970, but other than that there was little information.
I have now acquired a reasonable number (55) of the £1 jetons - they are available at $8 shipped from the UK ($6 for jetons shipped within the UK), and happy to negotiate if anyone wants more than 1.
They are numbered jetons, so happy to look through if anyone has a particular need (you never know, I may have it!)
