Mike, sorry, not correct. John Paul II was from Poland and that's his likeness on the bill from Poland. The current Pope is from Germany, therefore not "their guy". Why would Poland put a likeness of the current Pope on the bill when the immediate past Pope who was from Poland and in the position for 17 years? Did I miss something in you original post? Chuck T.
