Are you sure about the poker tourney.
The Golden Nugget in LV held the "Grand Prix of Poker" for several years. I would have thought they would have had the name trademarked.

Caesars held Amarillo Slims Super Bowl of poker several years both in Tahoe and LV. Last year was 1990.
