Oh, thanks for your interest. They have nothing to do with chips.
¶ they are called Put and Takes. Very popular in the 1920's and 30's. Made of brass usually, usually 6 or 8-sided. Based on tetotums and dreidels.
¶ the one pictured has Arabic writing, something I never saw before. I am trying to get the sides translated.
