i agree with some of that. I understand of course that the people who sell have costs. The gas, time to get the chip, the envelope and shipping and paypal fees. it would be great for us but (i'd rather find another word than stupid) for them to sell it for less than it costs the person selling. So a $1 chip could potentially be $3-4 by the time you add that list. Problem is even worse when an NIS has to pay someone to get them. If I could not get the chip otherwise i would pay the $4 for the chip. If I knew I could trade for the chip (at convention trading, or via the board) that is a different story of course.

So me personally would not pay above the $3-4 vig no matter the face value. But that's me -- and others would have a different opinion. I've paid more, in some cases much more, of course and have most of you. But this is when its somewhere that I know would cost me more. If a new chip came out in Wendover that I wanted that would be different, or Elko, or Mesquite or someone I could not or would not want to spend the time/gas to get to. But if it was a Vegas chip (such as the new Jerry's Nugget or Caesars) that is different.
