The benefit of an Associate Membership is that there is a "regular" member that comes along with it & can answer questions or help guide the new associate member. What benefit would a "trial" membership be or get -- certainly no voting rights & if they want to see what the club or hobby is about, they could visit our website & review archived magazines. I'm not seeing the benefit to either party on this.
