Yes, the Casino is located off I-40, East of Albuquerque, and yes, there is a Route 66 Highway across I-40 North that is in various stages of being restored. Some portions allow automobile traffic, but it is exclusively being used by bicycle riders. It goes for several miles then stops, and continues on the south side of I-40 in smaller tracts. I believe the state of New Mexico received large blocks of federal funds to rehab what the locals call the original path of Route 66. About 15 miles west of Albuquerque, and after leaving the casio, there is an official trail sign behind a restored Stucky's Restaurant, gas station and Dairy Queen.
Tourists can get on there and ride.
