I'm just very glad that we didn't trade it away...!

I think it was soon after we found the chip that we were heading to Vegas, and there was a Western Collectibles & Memorabilia show at the Plaza. There were a few chip dealers there, and we brought the chip with us to see who knew what...I don't think the chip was in the guides (though I could be wrong). Anyway we showed it to a dealer (don't remember who) who offered us $1000 in trade. Ummmm....no, but we'll keep it in mind, thank you.... Showed it to a couple of other dealers, one of whom said that $1000 in trade was a good offer. "Even if you consider his inflated prices, that's still a good $700 worth of chips that you could get...I'd take the offer!" We decided we'd rather have one really great chip, than more than one "nice" chips...
