No I cant book more than a year in advance for anything but we have to have the itinerary nailed down well before this time in order to be able to book the time off. Both our jobs generally don't do 4 weeks off in one block so as much notice of our intent to have a month off is what we have to do. To them it's a year away & they don't stress about it meaning we get the approval so much more easily, they only start to stress when it's a month away but by that time is well & truly booked & they just have to live without us
