There are actually 63 different locations to punch each card, but I suspect that there are only 32 (at the most) that can be punched without combining perforations, which then would cause stability issues with the card smoothly going into the reader slot.

I am not sure how to do the math for the number of different possible combinations from there.

However, I think there is enough information here for you to 'read' the other card. vbg

Seriously though, I have a couple on Ving keys that I know I got from a casino, but unless it was recorded on the card, there is no way to recover that casino/hotel name from the card/key alone.
