This version of Pharaoh was developed in 2009. They are compression mold chips from China and it's nothing like Nexgens that are hard plastic chips. You can read about them here, the first 2 post talks about them and the history of the Paulson version.

You get the best of both worlds in this line of chips because they are very affordable and very close to Paulson chips. Don't have to worry about "RIFFLE THE CHIPS & NO SPLASHING THE POT".
