My grand daughter was complaining that she could not connect to Wi-Fi. Oh oh? I first check all my defaults "Settings". Everything was there. I tried to connect but could not. Then read the voluminous IPad Guide and tried the suggestions still could not connect. Googled then I found this and tried it. Followed the first step and it work perfectly heard the familiar sound of the Ipad - automatically came up. Did not have to work on the second step because my settings were all in my defaults.
[Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.]
[Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.]
