My grand daughter came home and asked me if I know "lattice multiplication", she needs help with her new math homework.

I am from the old school - but no excuses.

We both went to the computer Googled "lattice multiplication" how it works and here is one link to several we found.

I found that it is like the old abacus in some ways.
