It shouldn't be that big of a deal. The list looks (if I'm counting right) about 29 sub-categories. And, if you show about 2-3 examples of each of those pictures, you're not talking lots of MB of data ... IMHO.
I think if you limited the picture of the chip to the size image of the images on the Chip Guide's pictures, then that could easily be managed.
