We all know about the tragedy that took place on December 14, 2012 at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. It was reported that night that one of the teachers that was murdered that day was from my hometown, Stratford, Connecticut. Her name was Victoria Soto. When my wife and I saw her picture she appeared to look very familiar but we could not remember from where. We soon learned that our neighbor was her uncle and godfather. We have attended several picnics next door and I'm convinced that we must have met Victoria there. There is a petition to rename the street in front of Stratford High School to Victoria Soto Way.
