Hi Matt and everyone else,
Haven't been on the board in a while but thought I would enter this discussion. Please Matt you or someone please explain to me how projecting "blame" TO INADIMANT" objects and banning them stops this type of senseless murder which took place at this elementary school? Just maybe if one of the teachers had a gun he could have stopped this "nut" before more children were killed. We as a people have to stop blaming objects and require and expect individuals to take responsibility for their actions.
Obviously, this "nut" is dead so we cannot expect him to take any responsibility. So what are to do? I don't know but banning inanimate objects is obviously not the answer. Just maybe putting a gun in the hands of the teachers might have stopped or minimized this horrible tragedy. Will never know because we never hear of the events where a gun stopped a horrible crime or prevented a disaster. Our press will never share this type of information.
