Today’s BankNote of the day is a 5 Kuna from Croatia issued in 2001. What I intend to sho is how notes are printed. Each side and each color are printed separately. Example: The US Dollar is printed BACK (Green) first, next FRONT (Black), and later when requested by a Reserve Bank, the SEAL & SERIAL numbers (GREEN). NO partial prints are intentionally released from the BEP.
The Croatian partial print notes are from the ‘set-up’ of the presses. Common paper (not currency paper) is use to set-up. Once set, actual security paper with watermarks and security threads are used.
ENJOY!!!
