I finally got the Joe W. Brown version of this keychain trinket this month. Thought I'd show both versions for those who might not have seen them. Both are listed in the Nevada Casino Promo Token book.

The pennies are dated 1955 and 1967, with the Joe W. Brown having the earlier date. Note it's also a wheat-cent whose design ended in 1959.

Benny completed his stay in Leavenworth Penitentiary for tax evasion and took back control of the casino from Joe W. in 1964, so we are probably seeing trinkets from the middle and later years.

The designs show the same concept, but were obviously done by different artists, with different fonts. Note the size of the clover on the reverse is different as well.

These are not for sale. Both list for $4-5 in the 1993 catalog but I think they should bring at least double that today. I had not seen the Joe W. Brown until the listing on eBay this month.
