Just got these tri-clubs. I had bought a different one (Princess Casinos NCV 5) for my mold collection and really liked it. I just scanned them to put them in Doug's thread on the club site about "new to me" chips.
Upon scanning these 2 I just now noticed at 2h and 7h on the green one, there are dimples inside those triangles. These ones are not clay, but the Princess I have is. After further inspection there is also an injection mark on the side of the scanned chips (outer rim).
The original Princess Casinos chip does not have these, weighs about 8g, and these 2 weigh 10g.
My question is, did this mold start off as a clay chip and then make it's way to injected molded?
Robert Eisenstadt's site only has this " Gambler's General Store, and Langworthy Casino Supply, Inc. -- both of Las Vegas NV, as recently as 1991". But no mention of 2 versions clay/plastic.
Thanks for any information.
