First, the story
I always seemed to recall I had some connection with the Lucky Horseshoe chips from when I first saw one years ago.
The Chipco record that accompanied the chips below triggered my mind into gear.

Jet Management operated a large jetfoil/catamaran from Dover (England) to Ostende (Belgium). These things fly through the water at average 50 mph and are still the same size as small ferry's, carrying vehicles as well as passengers.
They cut the route to Ostende down to just under 3 hours rather than 6 by ferry. Im not sure they are widely used anywhere nowadays - uneconomic and not good on the safety record.
Anyway, I did that trip around 1990 on their first boat, and the on board casino was the Lucky Horseshoe. The chips, along with the (Doubloon) roulettes were delivered in 1989 (lower part of the order record below). The only thing I can specifically tell you about that trip was that it was winter, choppy seas, and that craft was literally a 'sick machine' There was a group of 9 of us going for a weekend away. Beer glasses were being thrown about everywhere

In 1991, Jet acquired a second craft. I always suspected these rather old beat up things were cast offs from P&O etc. Anyway, the date ties in with the delivery of the second set of chips (top of the order below) that say Jet Management, with (ALMOST) identical artwork. In fact if you look very closely at these 2 and the Achille Lauro, there are some minute differences, and I would bet this was deliberate so that the $500 artwork fee on all these orders could be justified.

So, if anyone is interested in the chips, I have the following:
Lucky Horseshoe - 2 sets of 5 chips unnotched at $40 a set shipped, 1 set of 5 chips notched at $25
Doubloon roulettes - I have one set of the 10 colors (mix of fronts and backs shown in scan) for $40 shipped, and I have 8 odd singles if someone just wants one at $5 each shipped.
Jet Management - 2 sets of 4 chips notched at $25 a set shipped. None unnotched.
