A week or two ago we were driving down Rodeo Drive, in Beverly Hills (that's Ro-DAY-oh...not Ro-Dee-oh ). We saw this car parked outside of one of the designer stores, with an officer standing next to the car. We thought that there just might be a celebrity in the store, and I snapped a couple of pictures as we went by.
I googled the license plate on the car...google knows all!
Turned out that the car was a Bugatti Veyron that was made in Molsheim, France. It has a 1001 horsepower 16-cylinder engine and will go from zero to 253 mph in under a minute! The cost was $1.7 million. It belonged to designer Bijan Pakzad, who died in 2011. The car is parked outside of his boutique as a tribute to the designer.
Sorry the pictures aren't the quality of your hotrod of the day posts...we were moving and all I could do was sort of aim, and shoot FAST!
