My advise would be to............take them to a recycling center to have them tested for metal content. Most tokens are generally a brass alloy containing various metals. Brass alloys can fetch upwards of $2 per lb. and if anyone has ever lifted a $1 token fill bag usually containing a $1000 they weigh a lot!!!

I am speaking from experience as I had full $ token fill bags that were left in an old casino that were not destroyed. I was given 6 bags of tokens and 2 bags of $5 tokens that were basically very heavy dead weight in my garage for a few years. I finally deiced it was time for them to go as I was tired of stubbing my toe on them!!! !! I was more than pleased when leaving the scrape yard!!!! I did keep a rack of each however.

With that quantity there is virtually now collectability market in my opinion.
