NCR, warning -- I'm passing on this useful tip. When you use eBay's cumbersome User ID EBay Internal Contact email system, you should realize these two things:

(1) the EBay Internal Contact messages (sent and received) always end up on your Message page in your My EBay -- the page looks like this:

(2) the messages (sent [if you checked the box] and received) are also supposed to end up in your Personal Email Inbox. But for some reason, many of the EBay Internal Contact emails do not reach your Personal Email Inbox. I know this from experience and from chatting about it on eBay Discussion boards. I didn't receive an email in my Inbox from a buyer who used the EBay Internal Contact system, and I was not in the habit of checking my Message page in My eBay, so I never knew about the question. He gave me a negative feedback, but I explained the situation and the negative feedback was reversed. I then asked abut this on the an eBay Discussion board, and they told me that often eBay Internal Contact emails don't reach one's Personal Inbox.

Lesson: regularly check your My EBay "Message" page.
