I did a search of previous BankNote of the Day posts looking for what sparked interests among the readers. I judged using the number of ‘hits’ and replies. I found that words like “P0rn0.” And “Racist” were top contenders. American notes, Canadian, and odd notes spark interests as well. Others are, well, ho-hum.

So, today’s note(s) are American, and odd. Odd in that I have both together. Either one without the other would just be ‘normal.’ The differences:

One is a STAR (*) Note & One is not
$1 Printed in Washington D.C., $5 Printed in Fort Worth Tx.
$1 From Atlanta FRB, $5 from St. Louis FRB

The odd part? Look at the serial numbers…... 06848128
AND…. Check MY Drivers License digits DL:06848xxx (I am watching for the COMPLETE number)
