The current wording limits Associate Membership to family living at home.

My 2 boys were Associate Members for many years and that kept a casual interest in chip collecting. As they moved out from our home they were no longer able to be Associate Members. I wanted to keep the chip collecting pilot light burning with their Associate Membership but the wording said no. I want to renew their chip collecting pilot light along with my 3 grandchildren so they belong to something that Dad and Grandpa loves. $30 each every year is a little steep for me.

The new wording would mean that all these new people and more could participate in our club convention with an Associate Membership, Grandparents, parents, nieces, nephews, children not living at your home, neighbors, co-workers, friends and many more could now participate at the Dinner, Tournaments, trade sessions, seminars and pe-registration.

This change only means more money with less club cost and more interest.
