Now that we have seen the holiday casino matches and are in the right spirit, it's time to raise the Christmas Tree. I'm down to my two last holiday matches from Nevada so lets look at the Christmas Tree. Located between Reno and Lake Tahoe on the Mount Rose highway, it was known for it's restaurant. I was curious about the "Mahogany steaks" they featured and surprise... they originated in the Reno/Tahoe area in the 1940's. Here's a link to an article on how they came to be.
