Hello,
I am new to this board and am wondering if anyone is interested in The Pass Club chips. I have a lot.
The Pass Club was opened by my grandfather, Paul Coons. He died around 1954-55 and my Grandmother and Aunt took over operations. My Aunt died in the late 70's and my parents took over the operations.
I have many different denominations of Pass Club Chips. I also have some "Airway Club" chips. They were bunched up with the box my Dad gave me.
My Dad is still alive and knows the complete history of The Pass Club. He married my Mom, Paul's Daughter, shortly after it was opened and worked there as a cage guy fill in and operated the cigarette machine for years, until he took over operations. The Club Closed it's doors in 1981 a year after my grandmother died. The family went against Ventura County to try and keep it open, but the gambling license died with Grandma.
If you are interested in my chips or any further details, please contact me!
