Well, I may be the only one feeling this way but it has been getting bad lately... This has been a great year in my life and I am so thankful for everything that I have. The only bad thing is that this year hasn't been great in my chip collecting life. When I started this hobby a few years ago, it was great! Always being able to add new chips to my collection on an almost daily basis and making tons of trades but these things have become nearly non existant at this point. I haven't added a new chip to my collection (AT ALL!!) in at least 3 months and it seems like nobody ever wants to make any trades anymore (or else nobody has what I want for trade even though they are some of the most common types of chips). I have seen a major decrease in people that want to trade at all on this board and it seems like almost nobody has been trying to sell any quality chips at a decent price.
I love this hobby but it is really getting hard to continue due to having a very limited amount of money to put into it (especially this time of year when I have about $0 to spend on chips) and being almost completly out of traders and the few that I have nobody wants anymore. To top it off, I thought things were going to turn around and my wife was going to buy me chips for Christmas and after opening all of the presents, NOTHING!
Im really hoping that this will somehow turn around soon because it's getting really old but unfortunetly, I don't see anything changing in the near future. I find myself watching the ChipBoard all of the time hoping for a "fix" and never get one. Hopefully I can find some way to build my traders back up or start adding some new chips to my collection or else I may have to reconsider this hobby until later on in life when I'm more set on money and able to have some disposible income to spend. If anyone has any ideas or advice for me, please feel free to share and hopefully your Christmas season provided you with more chips than mine did (0!).
Thanks for listening, Dan R-8220
