I believed the Beaumont 50c chip I listed for Auction was from Beaumont, Texas based on info from Ed Hertel's Illegal Club Catalog.

However, I received additional info from Gene Trimble that the chip may be from Montana circa 1954 based on the Portland Card Co "Square in Circle Mold" records. The Red chip is listed as only 200 produced - making it the "rarest" of the Beaumont Club chips.

Beaumont Club is also listed as being from Montana in The Gaming Table based on the Portland Card Co records. The colors of the chips match, but there is no notation of the values hotstamped on the chips.

I am not sure where the chip is from Texas or Montana ???? Anyone who has made a bid on this chip is free to retract their bid based on the additional information provided.

I want to be up front and honest about this chip - you decide !!!!
