May have easilly been a mistake.

Some of the sample Abbiati plaque series I got out of the Caro Collection had as many as three colors with same denomination. I don't recall BG ever doing that with their samples... even back in the days when they used fake casino/city names w/o any advertising (except for some French houses that requested up to four colors; drilled with key chain that were never on the table in any color ).
