I did a trigger job on my Sig Sauer 380 and took it to my local gun range to test it. The place was packed. I assumed it was christmas shoppers but the owner (a friend of mine) said the sales were abnormally high. He said reports stated gun sales had hit record levels in the days following the school shootings. Any and all assault weapons and high capacity clips were flying off the shelves. With them handguns were being grabbed up as well.

If only one of those teachers had been armed, would lives have been saved? Maybe, maybe not, but they would have had an OPTION. School shootings are becoming more frequent, people seem to go where the victims are unarmed rather than say a police station where everyone is armed. Go figure.
