These are my last three examples.
The two wide-rim chips have cracks in the inner ring; the narrow-rim chip does not (which goes to show the guy who turned the top chip knew what he was doing ).
I can just imagine some guy walking into an Ivory Chip Shop 150-years ago asking the guy behind the counter: "Ya got about 300 double-ringed chips I can get a tiger engraved on?" -- and the shopkeeper running all over the joint looking in the bins, boxes and wheelbarrows for blank double-ringed chips...
Any one of the three chips is for sale at $400 each -- at the same level the few others I had sold for, individually... The three example lot; $1,050.
I'd be more than happy to ship any chip/chips for inspection to anyone I have sold ivories to in the past.
