...critical time. There are no words that can express the sorrow that we try to share with those who have suffered such a tragic loss. But I agree that a gesture outward to a fellow man is needed in many aspects of our lives. No amount of government or new laws will ever prevent tragedies such as this. I too, as a former cop, have seen what guns, knives, almost any object, and bare hands can do if there is evil in someones' intentions.

I pray to God that those affected directly and indirectly (which includes most of us, our children, grandchildren and friends) will be able to find some peace and love in the celebration of Christmas.
